HISTORY

KINOFABRIKA GmbH was founded at the end of the year 2002 in Germany by Sergei Bodrov with the purpose of production and co-production of feature films and documentaries.  The production company was involved into production/post-production of the feature „Bear’s Kiss“, premiering in Venice and Toronto International Film Festivals. 
2003 Kinofabrika GmbH was delegate producer of the German-French-Italian documentary co-production „Alone With The Moon“.
2003/2004 Kinofabrika co-produced “Shizo”, a Russian-Kazakh-German-French production which premiered 2004 in Cannes (Un Cerain Regard) and won prizes a.o. in Tokyo, Moscow and Cottbus.
From 2005 through 2007 Kinofabrika was involved into co-producing of the Oscar nominated biopic "Mongol", followed by "Native Dancer" in 2008/2009.
At present Kinofabrika has several projects in development and will announce them soon.
